Dear all,
Industry is using mathematical equation which are derived from unrealistic assumptions like flow is laminar, pressure is uniformly distributed etc (but not in actual case). How much deviation we experience from the actual date with these equations. How difficult it is to arrive at an equation of state which accounts for the actual & prevailed Reservoir conditions (flow is turbulent, flow doesn't follow the darcy law etc) ? How reliable & accurate is the findings of Radial diffusivity equation, which is derived from darcy law ( we use the solution of this equation in analyzing Permeability, Skin, Boundary radius by fitting the equation with well test graph ) ? Is it possible to derive an equation by taking the virtual assumptions ?
