    Hello everyone,

I am an engineering student and member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers at the University of Waterloo.  With the SPE uWaterloo chapter, I am publishing a petroleum 101 tutorial article series starting with a high level overview of the industry.

The purpose is to bring interest for petroleum related careers and provide enough background to get someone started in the industry.  The goal is to present technical aspects of the business in terms that everyone can understand. The primary target audience for this series of articles is for young professions just entering the industry.

The first article has been posted, and can be found here:
http://speuwaterloo.ca/blog/high-level-overview-of-the-petroleum-industry/ and our facebook group can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/speuwaterloo

The articles might be a little too simple for all of you, but I would really appreciate if you could pass the message along!  People interested in more articles can subscribe to the blog on the right.

We are also looking for guest authors, and would love to publish about any related subject.  My posts have been focused on subsurface related topics, so if any of you are interested in writing a post please let me know!

    Best,
    Andrew Andrade
