Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Water Life Cycle and Strategy Technical Section (WLCSTS) Call for Officer and Director Nominations
If you are interested in a leadership role for SPE, the WLCSTS (https://lnkd.in/d7Uae7Mv) is looking for nominations for its Board of Directors for the 2026-2028 period. The open positions for the upcoming period are:
• Membership Chair
Responsible for tracking trends in membership, delivering initiatives to engage current members, and recruiting new members to maintain and grow the WLCSTS community.
• Community Webmaster Chair
Responsible for the care and maintenance of the section website, SPE Connect discussion posts, and the WLCSTS LinkedIn webpage. Besides, responsible for keeping the board and the advisors informed of any social media announcement
• Director – Community Webmaster
Responsible for the care and maintenance of the section website, SPE Connect discussion posts, and the WLCSTS LinkedIn webpage. Also responsible for keeping the board and the advisors informed of any social media announcement.
• Director – Publications (2 positions)
Review, select and promote technical papers that address any topic related to the whole cycle of water production, treatment and disposal in the oil and gas industry.
The WLCSTS provides a forum for technical professionals and academia to discuss and progress the following technical topics:
• Beneficial reuse of produced water
• Water sourcing, handling and disposal
• Water discharge
• Reduced water footprint
• Onshore/offshore produced water reinjection
• Water strategy and stewardship
