The SPE recently formed a new Technical Section on P&A (https://jpt.spe.org/spe-launches-the-plug-and-abandonment-technical-section) with several overlapping areas / dimensions where tapping into expertise from other groups / TS's would be invaluable for building a coordinated approach...
In our initial work we're curious about governance models, how stakeholders are mapped and engaged, how various countries have different regulatory frameworks/models (prescriptive/goal setting...)
Starting with SH mapping... would this community have tools (or perhaps previous work) we could reuse?
And as a bonus question... I've always been interested in Sociology... would someone have any experience with applying sociological analysis to governance in the Oil & Gas?
