Caroline Kannwischer graduated as a drilling engineer and passionate health and safety professional with diverse experience across the energy landscape and maritime operations.
She began her career in the Well Operations group at ENGIE E&P in Germany and later worked for Schlumberger as a Wireline Field Engineer onshore and offshore across Europe, followed by an HSE Advisor role with Aquaterra Energy in the United Kingdom.
She subsequently joined Boskalis, becoming part of the international dredging SHE Q pool and supporting projects and dredging fleet activities. Caroline also contributes to the profession through IOSH volunteering, having served as Assistant Secretary with the IOSH East Anglia Branch and as Vice Chair of the IOSH Offshore Group.
In 2020, she received the Society of Petroleum Engineers Regional Health Safety Environment Award for Europe North Sea and has participated in related award judging activities.
Outside work, she is an experienced sailor and took part in the Clipper 2023 to 2024 Round the World Yacht Race leg while fundraising for UNICEF and the Rotary Foundation.
