My name is Jose Gregorio Valdez Gudino. I am a mechanical engineer based in Texas and an SPE Professional Member.
I recently joined SPE Connect following SPE Customer Service guidance, with the purpose of engaging through the appropriate technical communities, technical sections, and professional members in areas related to flow assurance, produced water management, separations, flow measurement, and operational monitoring.
I am currently preparing a response to a USCIS Request for Evidence related to my EB2-NIW petition. As part of that process, I am seeking guidance on how to identify an appropriate SPE member, subject matter expert, researcher, or technical professional who may be willing to review a short technical summary of my proposed endeavor and, if appropriate, provide an independent technical opinion letter.
My technical background includes flow assurance, multiphase flow, gas-liquid separation, experimental evaluation, CFD, mechanistic modeling, produced water handling, and operational monitoring of fluid systems.
My proposed endeavor focuses on the development and implementation of operational monitoring methodologies, data traceability frameworks, predictive evaluation, preventive analysis, produced water management, flow assurance, gas-liquid separation, and water/fluid monitoring systems applicable to industrial fluid systems and surface facilities in the United States.
I would appreciate guidance from SPE members regarding:
1. the most appropriate SPE technical section or community for this type of request;
2. whether there are SPE professionals or subject matter experts who review technical work independently;
3. how to properly approach members for an independent technical review or opinion letter;
4. whether there are recommended SPE channels, events, committees, or discussion groups for connecting with experts in flow assurance, produced water, separations, or operational monitoring.
I fully understand that any review or opinion would depend on the expert's availability, technical judgment, and independent assessment.
