Ladies and Gents,
I am a little surprised that there hasn't been more feedback from the Subject Matter Experts to the Production Community posts about "Batch Treatments in Rod Pumped Wells" and to Yurri Moroz's subsequent post asking about the state-of-the art for Corrosion Management for rod pumping operations.
Maybe those in the Service Sector have responded directly to the authors with Commercial pitches, but it would be useful if those working for Operating Companies could share their non-proprietary advice and experiences.
My experience is somewhat dated. However, when I was working for Operating Companies, we had small integrated teams trying to drive down OPEX. These included both in-house Flow Assurance and/or Production Chemistry and Coating/Materials Experts, as well as the Production Operations Supervisors and Engineers and Commercial/Contracting specialists.
The key is finding a win-win, problem solving arrangement with the preferred suppliers in each of the operating areas, as well as a benchmarking strategy with other areas or Operating Companies. ... (As well as limiting oxygen ingress in the water-injection and salt water disposal systems!)
Thank you in advance for whatever advice you can provide.
Regards
Bob
