Dear Experts,
I am looking for your valued input into the case of well productivity decline and possible role that emulsion might play in it. We do realize there are many possible culprits (that a hard to diagnose and put a finger on with 100% certainty) but wondering if one of those (emulsion) could be overlooked in its contribution magnitude to the problem. Let's take a generic case of a well on gas lift with rate decline of up to 50% in less than 6 months and water cut increase in the past 12 months from 5% to 50%.
Could all of the production loss be attributed to emulsion?
Does emulsion have that kind of potential?
We value your input but in this case looking for challenges encountered in following environment (35API oil, sweet, 600-1000GOR)
Thank you
