Responsible for planning and executing social and networking activities for the Section. Many of these activities serve as fundraisers for our Petroleum Engineering Scholarships.

Science Grants | School Outreach

Administers the Section’s Science Grant Program benefitting local science classrooms. Liaises with the schools to bring STEM content and programs to the classroom.
Continuing Education

Liaises with other technical organizations to bring technical content to our membership. Provides Professional Development Documentation to the membership for Section sponsored events.

Technical Meetings
Dr. Ali Ghalambor
Plans and manages the Bi-Annual International Conference and Exhibition on Formation Damage Control held in Lafayette. This conference covers the range of challenges and remedies for all issues related to the identification, characterization, prevention, and remediation of formation damage and serves as the primary fundraising effort for the Section.
