The annual SPE golf tournament benefits the scholarship fund supported by our East Texas SPE Section. Find a teammate and join us for a fun afternoon of golf with fellow industry colleagues. If you are interested in sponsoring in any way, please find the separate sponsorship link on our square site home page to support this year's event.

Schedule:

  • 8:00 am – Driving range opens to all in SPE tournament
  • 8:00 am – Breakfast and team registration begins at pavilion
  • 8:45 am – Announcements, rules, and travel to starting hole
  • 9:00 am – Shotgun Start
  • After Golf – Lunch, Awards Ceremony and Door Prizes

Your entry fee includes golf and cart, SPE giveaway item, free lunch, a chance to win fabulous door prizes.

We are still looking for all types of sponsors (hole sponsors, cookers, cart sponsors, general door prizes, beverage, etc.). If you are interested in supporting in any way, please see the sponsorship options posted on the square site.

Your participation and sponsorship will go toward raising money for our SPE Scholarship Fund. We are extremely appreciative of the financial support that our East Texas industry has given in the past for these students working toward petroleum related engineering degrees. Without your support, our scholarship program would not exist.

East Texas SPE - 2026 Sponsorship Opportunities


We are excited to announce that advertising opportunities for 2026 are now available. Your sponsorship directly supports scholarships for aspiring engineers entering the industry.

  • Choose a monthly meeting to sponsor.
  • Receive a promotional mention in the newsletter before the meeting.
  • Recognition as the sponsor on the opening slide and a shout-out at the meeting.
  • Display a full-slide ad during the lunch slideshow at each monthly meeting.
