  • 1.  Help on well analysis tools for obtaining unconventional fluid levels and well integrity?

    I need help in understanding the value of using an Echometer for unconventional wells in the Appalachian Basin? We used the Echometer for determining down hole liquid levels and if there were any leaks in the casing.

    Is the Echometer and well analysis software a must have tool? If so, are there other alternatives? Thank you for your thoughts.

    The value of an Echometer is that it is the only way that I know of to economically evaluate the effectiveness and optimize the output of your artificial lift if you don't have fiber optics in the well.

    Now as for their software. That is always up to some opinion. If you know what you are doing you don't necessarily NEED their interpretation from their soft ware.  There are those of us who don't want to use it because we are old school.
