Diesel (7 ppg) based corrosion inhibitor was planned to be injected through downhole CIV valve at multiple wells.
Most of the wells are completed with 9-5/8" casing & 3-1/2" or 4-1/2" tubing. SPM depth is around 9500'- 10,000' KB.
CIV didn't open even though annulus pressure was applied around 2 times the calculated surface opening pressure.
What could be the possible reasons of CIV malfunctioning?
