    Hello,

    I am looking for some experience & statistics that somebody can shear for 9 5/8" inflatable plugs. We need to change 7" production casing and we are able to run inflatable element for bottom hole shutting down to avoid well kill. BH gas pressure is more or less 2,500 psi @ 3,000 m.

    Inflatables are much under utilized because service providers with the experience to run them are not always readily available.  Like SET Technology, the opportunities to shift the paradigm on well maintenance and workover a huge but finding an operator, regulator and contractor who are competent to plan and address the process hazards at the front end so there is reliability at the back end of the project is so critical.  Cement plugs will work as long as you rotate the cementing stinger while displacing the cement.

    Dear Mr Needoba,

    Thanks you very much for your comments. Since we are performing the pulling job just for changing production string avoiding to kill the well We skip the cement use for formation damage risk.
