The SPE Austin Section is having an open call for volunteers!
The mission of the SPE Austin Section is to further SPE’s Mission and Vision in the geographic area of Austin for the over 500 members who work and live here.
The SPE Austin Section is a not-for-profit professional organization with activities that last for one to three hours in length, at least once a month when possible.
If you are interested in joining the SPE Austin Section as a volunteer please register by using the Apply Now! on this posting.
The section will hold a meeting for all those interested in the near future.
Roles
Roles available vary from board positions, scholarship fundraising, and general assistance.
At present, we have identified roles pertaining to our existing Program schedule and events. We are seeking individuals who can assist with on-site needs such as registration and coordination, finding relevant speakers to present at luncheons, and securing sponsorship for technical activities.
Skills and Qualifications
You are required to be an SPE Member with a current and valid membership, and be able to commit at least 2 hours a month.
