This committee is charged with selecting the SPE Completions Optimization & Technology Award

Tasks:

• Committee will review candidates nominated by the membership
• Committee will hold up to 3 ballots
• Committee will deliberate together to select recipient

Eligibility:

• Current SPE professional member
• Expertise in the technical discipline of Formation Evaluation

  • Completion Selection and Design

  • Completion Installation and Operations

  • Completion Monitoring Systems/Intelligent Wells

  • Sand control

  • Hydraulic Fracturing

  • Acidizing 

  • Completion Fluids

  • Completions Evaluation

  • Re-completion

  • Well integrity

  • Fundamental Research in Well Completion

Time Commitment:

• 3 year term, completion at ATCE
• Annual online review of candidates
• Monthly teleconferences between February and May
