This committee is charged with selecting the Drilling Engineering Award recipient

 

Tasks:

  • Committee will review candidates nominated by the membership
  • Committee will hold up to 3 ballots
  • Committee will deliberate together to select recipient

Eligibility:

  • Current SPE Professional Member
  • Expertise in the technical discipline of Drilling Engineering
    • Drilling Equipment
    • Operational Environment
    • Downhole Operations
    • Site Operations
    • Drilling Design and Analysis
    • Drilling Management

Time Commitment:

  • 3 year term, completion at ATCE
  • Annual online review of candidates
  • Monthly teleconferences between February and May
