PetroBowl®

SPE’s flagship competition matches SPE Student Chapter teams against one another in a fast-paced quiz competition covering technical and non-technical aspects of the oil and gas industry. Teams from six regional qualifiers are seeded through to the final. Competitions take place in the Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, Middle East, North America and South America and Caribbean before the final which takes place at the Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE).

Please note that the members of this committee will not have access to the PetroBowl questions, student members are therefore eligible to apply for this role.

Eligibility

PetroBowl® Communications Committee Member must be:

• Professional or Student SPE Members in good standing
• Previous experience in PetroBowl (though not essential)
• Personal interest in developing university students
• Be able to commit approximately 1-3 hours a week

Expectations

• Create/design flyers and posts to promote the program on social media
• Attend the progress check, monthly meetings and provide feedback
• Commit to the task assigned for the entire duration of the term (January – October)
