Description:

This committee is charged with selecting 3 awards:

Anthony F. Lucas Gold Medal recognizing technical leadership

John Franklin Carll Award recognizing distinguished professionals

Lester C. Uren Award recognizing technical excellence performed under the age of 45

Tasks:

  • Committee will review candidates nominated by the membership
  • Committee will hold up to 3 ballots
  • Committee will deliberate together to select recipient

Eligibility:

  • Current SPE Professional Member
  • Expertise in an SPE technical discipline
  • An appreciation of and interest in recognizing superior technical achievements 

Time Commitment:

  • 3 year term, completion at ATCE
  • Annual online review of candidates
  • Committee is active between February and May
  • Members participate in several teleconferences during the active period

Qualifications:

Membership Experience: 20 or more years
