Would you like to showcase your passion for the oil and gas industry and inspire the next generation of engineers?
The oil and gas industry is a vast sector, offering many different career opportunities and experiences in both technical and non-technical streams. The objective of the Career Pathways Fair is to provide an opportunity for both students and graduates to speak with experienced and young professionals working in different career paths in an informal environment.
We are recruiting volunteers to represent any of the below disciplines, with each discipline to be represented by a Young Professional as well as a more experienced representative. SPE will provide full guidance and preparation is expected to be minimum, other than being able to attend on the day.
Volunteers are also encouraged to bring materials with them to the event, to showcase their disciplines and inspire students in an interactive environment. The event will be set in an informal environment where students feel free to ask questions, even the silly ones, on a one-on-one basis. The aim is that students will leave this event with a greater knowledge of the career paths out there, and be in a better position to manage their existing or future careers.
