We need members who have volunteered with SPE to write a short blog about their experiences.

As SPE President Helge Hove Haldorsen says, "You're going to see when you volunteer your time with SPE, that we're going to promote you -- put you in charge of committees, of task forces -- and that's going to give you leadership experience that you can use once you're promoted in your company. Then you can draw upon what you have learned in SPE. So you're a key part of this big jigsaw puzzle. You have the right to feel an enormous sense of purpose for what you do..."

Share that sense of purpose with others to encourage them to join you and our president as a volunteer with SPE by writing about:

• Your favorite role as a volunteer at SPE and how it supported the Society's mission
• What volunteering for SPE has done to help you as a professional
• What you think volunteering at SPE accomplishes for our global community and future of our Society, especially given the current state of the industry
