The Suriname Section has been awarded the Section Excellence Award for 2019. This prestigious award, previously known as the Gold Standard, is the second highest honor a section may receive and is awarded to 20% of eligible sections around the world. The award is in recognition of the section’s hard work and strong programs in industry engagement, operations and planning, community involvement, professional development, and innovation.
This is the 3rd consecutive year that SPESUR has been awarded a Section Award. Last year the Gold Standard and in 2017 the Presidential Award were won.
