The Permian Basin Section of SPE is a proud supporter of college students pursuing careers in the petroleum industry. We offer scholarships to encourage the pursuit of Petroleum Engineering and related engineering degrees. We are currently providing $3000 each to 17 students for the 2014-2015 school year in addition to the Richard Prentice award of $5,000, and three Presidential scholarships of $4,000 each. We will be accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year beginning in February 2015.
