Khosrow Biglarbigi is the President and Director of Petroleum Engineering of INTEK Inc, an energy management consulting firm in Arlington, VA. He also serves on the Board of Governors of AOC Petroleum Support Services LLC., a company partially owned by INTEK. He has over twenty years experience in evaluating conventional and unconventional oil and gas resources and recovery technologies. economic analysis, and public policy evaluation. His expertise also includes; project management, portfolio analysis, and oil & gas strategic planning
He recently completed managing three major oil shale exploration projects in the MENA region for multiple clients, utilizing both surface and near-surface oil shale technologies.
Biglarbigi holds both an M.S. and a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa. He has authored numerous publications related to roil shale, Enhanced Oil Recovery, Horizontal wells, resource evaluation and the development of oil and gas models. He was an SPE Distinguished Lecturer on the subject of oil shale in 2009-2010. He is a member of National Engineering Honor Society (Tau Beta Pi), The Scientific Research Honor Society [Sigma XI), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
