2020 Regional HSE Award presented to Section MemberWe are delighted to announce that fellow section member and volunteer Caroline Kannwischer was awarded the 2020 Health, Safety and Environment Award for the North Sea Region. She joined our section in January 2020 and took on the role of webmaster for us.
In absence of this year's Regional Section Officer's Meeting we were able to present her the award at our last in-person board meeting in September while maintaining social distance and following government guidelines.
Caroline is a graduated drilling engineer, who has worked in multiple companies, countries as well as disciplines and has always shown a great passion for HSE. In 2019 she decided to officially diversify by getting her qualifications and has worked in HSE roles since. She is also a longtime and very active volunteer for the SPE and was awarded the Young Member Outstanding Service Award for the South, Central and East Europe Region in 2018.
