This presentation will provide an update on successful commercial air injection projects that are currently operating, demonstrating its potential in a variety of reservoir settings. It will also discuss why fields that are currently being produced by steam-based or cold production processes provide a significant opportunity for air injection, either to recover additional oil, or for pressure maintenance in mature steam zones, and/or for significant heat energy input into a reservoir.
