New ultra low NOx technology has demonstrated reliable operation on a dozen OTSG burner units rated to 85 Mbtu/hr in the Kern County Oil fields near Bakersfield, California achieving NOx emissions well below 5 ppm at excess air levels below 10%. The amount of FGR necessary for NOx control is substantially lower than what is typically required by premixed ULN burners for achieving comparable emissions. This, in conjunction with low differential air pressure and low excess air capabilities, presents one of the most energy efficient burner technologies operating in the market today.
