    Dear SPE members,

On behalf of one gas producing company in Ukraine, we are looking for one platform that would be able to integrate all software that we are currently using (Reservoir, Infrastructure, Database, different SCADA systems, metering systems, etc.).

    Please advise.

    Best regards,

Not sure such a platform exists. I had been tangentially involved in rolling-out various E&P drilling software and databases. Schlumberger Ocean, Halliburton DS and Peloton DrillView, host respective vendor software, but are incompatible. Ultimately, to ensure that mutually exclusive drilling software and databases talked to each other, I pulled everything across to MS Excel.Attached may help

Yurii, it probably would help if you detail what the expectations are in the matter of "integrate all software". Are you looking for IT infrastructure as a service (aka Cloud) or a service to manage integration of software on premise? As Gerard rightly states, it is unlikely that any actor have on shelf a turnkey solution for the whole range of software you quote. Such software are used in widely different context (control command, engineering, etc...). Cloud providers (Microsoft, Google, AWS, ...) can provide infrastructure.  Large editors (SLB, Aspentech, Halliburton and the like) might be in position to provide Software As A Service for a range of their products and possibly third party software. For example,  and if I correctly understood what my SLB colleagues are telling me, SLB can with Delfi  propose a SAAS solution for Petrel + Pipesim and some third party software such as the PETEX suite (an alternative to PIPESIM). But I kind of doubt you will find a unique global answer on shelf for what you are asking. You probably would have to engage both a Cloud provider and a large Editor / Integrator (IT service company) to achieve what I suspect you have in mind.

    Hey Pierre

I think we should have a catch up at your convenience on how we simplified such complex work that your able team has achieved.

    Hello Yurii

Just a bit of protocol in my current position of SPE President. Discussions on commercial products are a bit borderline on SPE Connect. There is no problem discussing products in a neutral way, but promotional messages (self promotion or promotion of a third party) are not allowed, and sometimes the limit is fuzzy. When the line is crossed the comment is erased, generally resulting in a mildy to seriously upset contributor.

So if a commercial company wants to sell you a solution they must send a message directly to your mail address and not on this platform.

Otherwise I agree with the current contributors. There is no magic off-the-shelf solution to my knowledge, but on the other hand initiatives like OSDU, and before Energistics and (for those with grey hair) POSC, plus the development of global standards, have considerably reduced the challenge of having commercial solutions speak to each other, and in particular speak to the main platform you will have selected or built. It is a sort of lego which does not come yet on a single click but which is, at least, feasible.

    Hello, Olivier!

Thank you for your comment and recomendation! I have edited the post and remove software product names.

Dear Colleagues, thank your for your advices. We are analyzing them, so we will reach those who can contribute to our project.

    Best regards,

Hello Yuri. What you originally did was all right. The issue is promotion of, not reference to commercial applications. Anyway I think you got your answers... Olivier

    Olivier,
Is it not fair to say that the Reply to Sender option within SPE Connect
allows Service Providers to establish a communications path to the author
of an SPE Connect post, whose email address they don't yet know and to
provide a semi-commercial promo to encourage the author to respond to them?

Absolutely. The only problem is promotion on the public thread. And here I had just noted that Yuri had provided his mail address. Olivier

    Dear Yuri

We've a well lifecycle software called COLLABWELLS which is built to integrate all business processes within a wells lifecycle integrating with data.

We've won the digital innovation award too and happy to discuss further on your expectations and requirements.

I do not believe you will get a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solution for this. We have discussed, and looks like will be deploying as digital twin for a major client in the middle east in the upstream hydrocarbons space. The digital twins are generally adding value through providing access to the disperate data sources and being able to navigate to the information on the asset design and operating data - the major offerings we are talking to clients about are from Cognite and Kongsberg. These platforms have automated routines (including AI/ML) for contextualising the data and linking it. This integration from multiple systems is the key enabler for digital twins.

There are alternatives as well which can be used to support brownfields operations with limited remaining life, which are harder to justify the value.
We have an expert in Spain that I could connect you with to discuss further or provide a presentation in this space from our point of view.

    Yurii,

For large projects and operators your best current option for an all in one vendor-agnostic cloud platform would be to look at OSDU as it is an open source platform that many of the large cloud vendors can help you set up and maintain.
For small and mid size projects you will have to pick and choose the best solutions that work for you, my advice is to choose the software vendors that have open data models (not closed black box proprietary databases) and are willing to work with you and with 3rd party integrators to create your own mini-osdu-like data warehouse that's fit-to-size for your organization.

I'll send an email with more info about integrations, and our commercial products and data consulting services,

    Regards,
