SPE Central Ukraine Technical Meeting | April 30, 2025, Kyiv 🔷

The Radisson Blu Hotel in Kyiv hosted a regular meeting of the SPE Central Ukraine Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. The event traditionally brought together oil and gas industry professionals, scientists, and company representatives to share experiences, technical solutions, and establish professional dialogue.

This event focused on production optimization and modern technologies for influencing the bottomhole zone, including real-world case studies of implementing coiled tubing and multistage physical and chemical stimulation systems.

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Ukraine Section successfully hosted another industry meeting at the Ukrainian Catholic University. It was a productive day filled with insightful discussions, technical presentations, and valuable networking among industry professionals.

SPE meeting "Production achievements and further vector of technological development of PJSC "UKRNAFTA"".

Location: Kyiv.

Speaker: Bogdan Kukura, Chief Engineer of PJSC "UKRNAFTA".

On December 26, SPE held a meeting with Bogdan Kukura Chief Engineer of Ukrnafta

The event was attended by 40 people in person and 35 online, including heads of service companies and representatives of upstream oil and gas companies in Ukraine.

Heads of service companies expressed their appreciation for the informative technical presentation, as it provided them with a clear understanding of the list of technologies and equipment that their companies will need in the future.

SPE will also share possible innovative solutions to some of the company's technological challenges.

Majority of gas fields in Ukraine are going through challenging final phase of production reserves depletion. Liquid loading is one of the main problems on such fields, can reduce production and shorten the life-cycle of a well costing a company millions in revenue.
