The SPE Calgary Section is pleased to be offering post-secondary students across Canada the opportunity to have their expenses paid to attend the 2014 Unconventional Resources Conference in Calgary, Alberta this late September and early October!
As part of a new initiative to engage SPE student members, the Calgary Section has launched the Student Conference Sponsorship (SCS) Program. This program encourages students from all disciplines who are interested in learning more about the energy sector to apply, as SPE is not only for engineers. Please see important dates below:

While attending the conference, successful candidates will also have the opportunities to:
• Network with the Calgary Section Board of Directors and the SPE Calgary Section Young Professionals
• Attend the exhibition where some of the leading E&P companies display the latest innovations and technologies in developing unconventional plays.
• Participate in the Young Professional Workshop focused on “Managing Change”, ranging from Canada’s energy strategies to managing personal career change.
