Julmar Shaun Sadicon Toralde is the global champion for deepwater MPD, downhole deployment valve, and steady-state continuous flow system technologies for Weatherford in Houston. He helped to pioneer deepwater MPD deployment on a dynamically positioned drillship in 2010 and is actively involved in major deepwater MPD rig integration projects globally. He holds a geothermal engineering degree from Negros Oriental State University in the Philipines. Toralde has written approximately 50 technical papers and trade journal articles and led a number of MPD training courses.
