Dear SPE Members – Hope this email finds you all well. Regional and section awards recognize members who contribute exceptional service and leadership within SPE, as well as making significant professional contributions within their technical disciplines at the SPE regional level. Awards are presented at the appropriate SPE region or SPE section meeting.
Building on last year success, where Abu Dhabi section had multiple winners in the Regional Awards, we will kick off the Regional Award Process for this year aiming to have more success than previous years. This section is rich with technical experts who need to be recognized regionally and internationally.
I encourage you all to proactively participate and start nominating for regional awards within your network, and SPE-AD section has formed an internal committee to review the applications for the nominees and rate the candidates’ support materials strictly following the SPE provided criteria.
In an attempt to make nominations easier for most members, SPE have revised the 2011 nomination form, simplified it and now there is no need for recommendation letters. The form is attached so you can complete and submit to the below focal points. Also, I’ve attached a document includes valuable information and guidelines for you to proceed with your nomination.
This year focal point for Abu Dhabi section in the Regional Award Committee is Mr. Mohamed Al Marzouqi (SPE-AD Technical Program Chairman), and all applications for the nominees need to be submitted to him; however, for more efficient submission, ADCO & ADMA nominations will submit their applications to their respective below focal points, and they will ensure submission to the section focal point.
All applications need to be submitted before 30th Jan to the below focal points only, any submission after deadline date will not be considered
