Billings SPE Section provides $500 grant to Ekalaka science department. Ekalaka will send 30 children and 4 adults to 29th MT Science Olympiad in Bozeman, MT. Projects include Crime Busters, Wheeled Vehicles, Solar Systems, Disease Detectives, Hereditary traits, Boomer Lever, Rocks and Minerals, Geologic Mapping, Entomology Groups, and many more. We are striving to create a successful generation of scientists and engineers and we would greatly appreciate SPE’s support. The Montana Science Olympiad is devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers. The Science Math Resource Center at Montana State University in Bozeman is hosting Montana's 29th Science Olympiad on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.
