Hello everyone, I am really happy to join this group.
I am working for Saudi Aramco as a production engineering unit supervisor. part of my job is taking care of injection wells using sea water in some fields and water supply aquifers in others.
one of the main challenges I have in my area is the damaging taking place after workover operations or drilling rigs.
Visiting these wells right after rig release with coiled tubing for stimulation to restore injectivity is not an easy task neither cheap one!. especially when we talk about multi-lateral wells with long reach.
The damage (mud cake) is certainly neccessary for well control during rig operations, however it is a challenge for production engineering to remedy following rig release!
I am asking if there is a chemical to pump (bullheading) to remove this damage and have the ready for injection damage-free.
