Does anyone know of a study of the efficiency of mobile flaring equipment, used as a temporary instillation during line blowdown operations for maintenance or hydrate plug destabilization, similar to that reported for permanent flares in Nigeria by Ozumba & Okoro in SPE 61025?
I am particularly interested to know mobile flares can perform nearly as well as mobile enclosed incinerators in certain benign weather conditions for gas lines with very small concentrations of heavy gas components.
