Hi, Mustafa,
For plug cementing jobs, we use this procedure to condicionate better the well in open hole. We position the string at the top programed for the cement, conect top drive and run in hole stand by stand with circulation till the reach the position to iniciate our job. After that, we circulate the well in this position. This help us to remove the mud from the walls of the hole where the plug will be set posicioned. Hope that can have helped you!
I forgot to say that we also use a mule shoe in the end of the string, so we have side jets during the cementing and when we're running the string in the hole with circulation, this jets will help to clean the well.

Mustafa,
My recollection is that a wiper trip occurs after the hole has been "standing open" for a period of time, typically conducted during extended logging operations or before a casing run. The wiper trip can improve wellbore conditions for getting logging tools to bottom as well as alleviate incidences of wireline keyseating. A short trip occurs at various stages during drilling operations in open hole by pulling pipe back to casing shoe and pumping mud to condition wellbore or prior to a bit trip.
