I am the from university of karachi doing M.Sc in petroleum Technology.America the country of country The super power still getting oil from other countries.. Since America has their own Oil RESERVOIRS but why they are using other countries to make them run.. why?

Hi, I'm a petroleum engineer from Colombia. I would like to know and get data and statistics (public information) about unconventional wells explotation, drilling, information about some pilots , data of deep , pressure , tempratura, some relevante information in orde to solve an academic challence

In Colombia is a controversial topic, specially because of environmental concerns. I will appreciate your help.

USA import most of the oil from Saudia Arabia as in return they are providing them with security and they are using their 2% of their oil reserves as they are saving em for the future. Smartness indeed.
