SPE Online Education: Future of Intelligent Completions in Reservoir Management
Webinar Abstract
Intelligent Completions play a significant role in the transformation of Oil & Gas industry. Components of Intelligent Completions have evolved over time with step changes seen in computational capabilities and the ongoing push towards automation. Over the years, Intelligent Completions have proven to be instrumental in the optimization of operating wells and reservoir management. In this webinar, we will discuss the Future of Intelligent Completions in Reservoir Management. Focus will be on the role of Intelligent Completions in reservoir monitoring and surveillance. The underlying decision criteria for completing wells with intelligent over conventional completions will be explained. Case studies to demonstrate examples where Intelligent Completions are a must-have versus good-to-have will also be presented. We will also discuss the future advancements in the technology space of Intelligent Completions. In this age of digitization and artificial intelligence, Intelligent Completions are expected to play a crucial role in the total recovery of fields
