Good day...
I'd need some guidance regarding vacuum conditions in a piping system. In particular I am working with the design of a closed drain system in a new FPU. The Closed Drain Drum has been designed for FV (full vacuum). The liquid will be pumped out from the Drum using some centrifugal pumps, and then heated.
I am currently working with the project's Line List and need to populate min/max design pressure of the lines; in particular I need some guidance about the minimum design pressure of the piping. For example, the lines attached directly to the Closed Drain Drum should be designed for FV as the vessel is, but there are other intermediate lines that I don't know if they should.
Can somebody help me with this? Where can I find more info on this topic?
