Objective
The main reason for this event is to bring together engineers and recognize women who have excelled in the oil industry, to publicize their experiences within the industry, as well as point out the importance that women have students in the areas of Earth Sciences from their academic development through their working lives.

The SPE Student Chapter Student Chapter UNAM organized this activity in order to raise awareness of the significance and importance of women engineers in the oil industry by revealing their experiences both their academic life, and throughout his professional life.
This activity was developed on May 9, 2014 giving beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 18:30 pm the same day in the auditorium Javier Barros Sierra, Faculty of Engineering, UNAM.
Participants various oil companies as Halliburton, Schlumberger, Petrofac, The Mudlogging Company and the Association of Petroleum Engineers of Mexico (AIPM) and representatives of the SPE Section Mexico.
Just have the presence of female geologists Dr. Rosa Maria Uribe, Engineer Alma Tellez, chemical Chemistry Jesus Rosa Hernandez Alvarez and oil the Engineer Maria Isabel Javier Villegas. We also have the participation of prominent petroleum engineers giving us their views and experiences in working with women engineers as were Dr. Rafael Rodriguez Nieto, M.I. Jose Angel Gomez Cabrera and Ing. Manuel Reyes.
