WESC 2025 – A great edition in Nantes!
On 24-27 June, Centrale Nantes had the pleasure of hosting the Wind Energy Science Conference 2025, a key event for the international wind energy research community, chaired by Sandrine Aubrun.
Key highlights:
✅ 1000+ participants
✅ 700+ scientific oral presentations
✅ A memorable gala dinner at the Machines de l’île’s Nefs
🔍 Technical visits were a major highlight of the event, offering participants the opportunity to explore:
• Saint Nazaire offshore wind farm,
• SEM-REV - Multi-technology offshore test site operated by the Fondation Open-C
• and the research platforms of Centrale Nantes, showcasing cutting-edge facilities and expertise in wind energy research.
