On Nov. 7th, the SPE Basra section arranged a presentation titled (How to do your term project like a boss) the 4th year students were very excited and there was many questions on this subject.
Atheer Al Attar delivered a one hour presentation and there was a QA session afterwards. The main issues that faces the projects implementations were addressed and especially:
- How to start your project by seeking the research question
- How to use the planning tools (Gannt Chart) to split up your tasks.
- How to look and find the data for your project
- How to write your report
- How to deal with graphs and data presentation best methods
The subject was selected basing on the students vote and we decided to have another presentation about (How to present your project). I would also like to thank Mr. Safaa and Mr. Ahmed two alumni of the department for their joining us and giving the advice to students.
The presentation was attended by Mr. Ali Nouraldeen the Reservoir Management instructor whom we had a long meeting with him to discuss the process of opening the student chapter officially.
