After our team have won the first place in the PetroBowl contest Middle East North Africa regional qualifiers, which was held at The American University in Cairo AUC campus among 10 universities from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Libya, Qatar, Sudan, and Oman.
Our team members, the real super heroes who dedicated all their efforts for this journey: Beshoy Helmy, Omar Mohamed, Mahmoud El-shahawy, Mahmoud Said, and Dalia Reda.
They have gone to represent MENA region, Egypt and Suez University in the international SPE PetroBowl contest in San Antonio, Texas, USA during the ATCE, Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, 2023.They did a great job at the finals with the help of Eng Taha Yehia, Eng Mohamed Mahmoud, and Eng Mohamed Elshawaf and reached the quarter finals after winning two matches against universities from Canada and Croatia, becoming among the top 8 universities from the 32 participating universities and the only Arabian university to reach this stage.
They had the opportunity to meet a lot of Oil & Gas pioneers especially our International President for season 2024 Mr. Terry Palisch.
