>  Authors will receive a notification of acceptance of their abstracts (done)..
>  Please send us your slides until 9 Sept 2019
>  We also encourage young professionals from non-technical disciplines and PhD students to submit abstracts (submission deadline expired).

Dr.-Ing. Holger Kinzel, Founder and Managing Director, Planxty engineering & consulting Services GmbH

Dr.-Ing. Holger Kinzel has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He is founder and managing director of planxty engineering & consulting Services GmbH, a small German engineering and consulting company based in Peine near Hannover. Before starting his own company in 2014 Holger worked for Weatherford in various domestic and international technical and senior management positions between 1989 and 2014. Earlier in his career, Holger worked for Preussag AG as Project Manager Research and Development, Directional Drilling and Drilling Engineering (1985-1989) and as Technical Manager in Egypt (1983-1985). 

Holger holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree (≈ MSc) in Drilling and Petroleum Engineering from the Technical University Clausthal (1983), a Master’s degree in Mediation from the University Hagen (2016) and an engineering doctorate from the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg (2017). He is a lifetime member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has served on program committees and as session chairman of international conferences. Holger published over 50 technical papers.

 Holger is married and has two wonderful grownup daughters. Holger can chose between a variety of hobbies to relax between project and after work: he holds an amateur radio license, is an experienced skipper and he plays the fiddle in a folk-music band.
