CANCELLED November Study Group: Clean Well Technology

When:  Nov 16, 2017 from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM (CT)
Associated with  Evangeline Section

What is the importance of a clean well and how do we achieve this sufficiently in less time?

In today’s market conditions we are all burdened with the task of being more efficient and doing more with less. We are asked to achieve our goals without sacrificing safety and the quality of work in less time.

The transition from drilling to completions known as the displacement is game changer if not properly executed. We will discuss what components are necessary for a successful displacement. A simple demonstration will be performed to summarize the displacement operations and to introduce the core mechanical well bore clean out tools.

We will discuss and look at possible repercussions and talk about the financial impacts of these unfortunate incidents. Last but not least how do we meet in the middle? How can we achieve our goals of a clean well in less time? We will discuss options. The floor will then be opened for any questions.

Heather Hodges is presently a Technical Advisor for Halliburton Completion Tools and currently supports the Chevron account with an in-house role. Heather is dedicated to developing strategic planning and ensuring safe decisions are made regarding CleanWell® Technology’s everyday operations.
