Speaker Bio

Trevor Hill, Senior Consultant, Flow Assurance, BP Exploration and Production

Trevor is now a senior consultant in flow assurance with BP Exploration and Production, having been the technical authority for that discipline 2008-2015. He is a graduate in chemical engineering from Cambridge University, and started with BP in 1981. His early years were spent in multiphase flow modelling, experimentation and field data collection, then leading teams doing simulation and designs for multiphase field systems. After several broader engineering jobs he returned to his multiphase origins by taking the flow assurance technical authority role. He has had the opportunity to carry out field studies and incident investigations in a number of offshore and onshore oilfields around the world.
