The Engineering Professionalism Committee (EPC) oversees the SPE Petroleum Engineering Certification Exam which is a globally recognized credential for petroleum engineering professionals. In an effort to add items (questions) to the existing repository, the committee is inviting volunteers to join the item writing subcommittee. By signing up for this application, the member agrees to abide by the code of conduct.

Qualifications:

• SPEC or PE / PEng designation required.
• 4-5 years of professional experience in Drilling, Production or Reservoir Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Write 8-10 items per year in the chosen technical discipline.
• Attend virtual meetings when required.

Term Duration: While there is no term duration, it is recommended that the volunteers commit for 2 years.

Time Commitment: 2 - 3 hours per week
