Job description
The webmaster is responsible for the presentation of the SPE VBS on the Internet. This presentation has to fulfil the following purposes:
- Provide valuable services to our members
- Attract new members. This responsibility, which may be delegated to others, includes:
- Setup of a homepage, controlling its attractiveness and adjusting its content if necessary updating it according to events and other current issues.
- Ensuring that all functions are working properly
- Manage feedback from and to board and users
- Ensuring that needed policies are in existence and clearly posted on the site (e.g. who is allowed to post which kind of links for which amount of money).
The webmaster is reporting to the board, which has to approve all major content changes and all financially relevant actions in advance.

A well organized and maintained website is a key tool to member satisfaction and member acquisition.
