Description

Join us for a talk from the US State Department's Office of Energy Supply Chains

Topic: Advancing U.S. International Energy and Critical Minerals Priorities

Speaker: Levi White

Deputy Director, Office of Energy Supply Chains
Bureau of Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs (EEB)
U.S. Department of State

As geopolitical competition intensifies and supply chain vulnerabilities come into sharp relief, the State Department’s Bureau of Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs (EEB) sits at the center of U.S. efforts to secure energy supplies and diversify critical mineral supply chains globally.

Mr. White will discuss how the U.S. is deploying energy diplomacy and economic tools — from bilateral agreements to strategic partnerships — to advance American energy dominance, secure critical mineral supply chains, and support allied nations in developing their own energy resources.

About the Office of Energy Supply Chains — U.S. State Department

The Bureau of Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs (EEB) advances American prosperity and security by combining economic and foreign policy tools. Its energy and critical minerals work encompasses energy security diplomacy, coordination of strategic reserve releases with allies, driving increased exploration and production partnerships with U.S. companies in key markets globally, and building international coalitions around critical mineral supply chains. EEB led Secretary Rubio’s landmark Critical Minerals Ministerial in early 2026, convening 55 international delegations to accelerate secure and resilient supply chains for minerals essential to American economic and national security.
