The Society of Petroleum Engineers’ Asset Management Technical Section (AMTS) is hosting Regional “Energython – Molecule to Megabyte” competition, which is a “SharkTank” style competition for students.
Students will submit a techno-economic model to power a data center (10–20 MW load) by a natural gas-fired power plant. Proposals will cover the supply chain, power generation technologies, agreements, and financial models.

Your experience in managing large corporations will hone our contestants’ commercial instincts and inspire them to broaden their horizons. We are also seeking sponsors for this event, with all proceeds going towards awards for the competition and future scholarships.
