Student Contest + “Shark Tank” Finals + Awards

A student competition where teams design a techno-economic model to power a 10–20 MW data center using a natural gas–fired power plant or a fuel of choice. Solutions must cover supply chain, power generation technology, agreements, and financial modeling. Finals will be conducted in a “Shark Tank” style.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Open to: India & Asia Pacific SPE Student Chapters
  • Teams: 3–5 students, guided by a faculty advisor
  • Deliverables: 10-minute standalone video + detailed presentation (max 15 slides)
  • Focus areas: natural gas supply, transportation agreements, off-take agreements, power generation equipment, and financial model
